Where does training happen?

“The testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”— James 1:2–4, RSVCE
I started this because the gym gave me my life back. I want to do the same for you.
Book a free consultation See the classesI hated the gym. Before I ever picked up a weight, I was overweight and purposeless, going through the motions — hours on the couch, too much food, feeling sorry for myself and doing nothing about it. I was miserable, and I knew it.
Then COVID hit, and something in me broke open. Mentors told me straight: quit sitting in your misery and do something about it. You're in control. So I started going, and I stayed consistent for a year.
I lost 50 pounds and got stronger than I'd ever been. But the physical change wasn't the real story. My standards of living changed. For years I'd chased the temptations of life. The gym brought me back to who I actually was — my morals, my values, and most importantly, my faith.
That's the message I want to relay in my work. If you're going through a hard time and don't know where to start, there's no better place than the gym — working hard. I've been a personal trainer in Dallas for almost four years now, and this is still why I do it: to help people reach their potential and become the best version of themselves.
We don't train for a body for people to admire. We train because we want to live up to a higher standard.
Discipline isn't punishment. It's worship in motion. Hebrews 12:11 says, “discipline hurts while you're in it, but later it produces the fruit of righteousness.”
Every person who walks in here is capable of the same turnaround I had — they just haven't started yet.
I am not here to be your drill sergeant. I am here to help you reach the version of yourself you dreamed of. I am a great encourager. I believe in you more than you believe in yourself, and I want to see you win. Your winning gives me life and fulfillment.
This life is short and you should and can live it to your full potential. I'd be honored if you let me help you change your life.

“He combines technical expertise with patience, empathy, accountability, and unwavering encouragement. His ability to tailor training to the individual while helping clients recognize and achieve their full potential is truly exceptional.”
I have had the privilege of training with Ryan for more than three years, and throughout that time, he has played a significant role in my growth, not only as an athlete but also as a person committed to maintaining strength, mobility, and overall wellness as I age.
I use the term “athlete” modestly, as I still consider myself a work in progress, but Ryan consistently encourages me to see capabilities in myself that I might otherwise overlook. He has seen me on my best days and my most challenging ones, and regardless of how I arrive at a session, I always leave feeling stronger, more confident, and motivated to continue my fitness journey.
If you are considering a personal trainer, look no further. Ryan’s greatest strengths extend far beyond his impressive knowledge of human anatomy and exercise science. He combines technical expertise with patience, empathy, accountability, and unwavering encouragement. His ability to tailor training to the individual while helping clients recognize and achieve their full potential is truly exceptional.
Ryan is more than a trainer; he is a coach, mentor, and trusted partner in helping people become stronger, healthier, and more confident versions of themselves. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone seeking lasting results and a positive, supportive training experience.
“He pays attention to the details, explains the ‘why’ behind what we’re doing, and knows when to push me and when to make adjustments. I’ve learned so much from him along the way, not just about lifting weights but about training smarter and taking care of my body for the long term.”
I can’t say enough good things about Ryan as a personal trainer. When I first started working with him, I weighed around 155 lbs. Today I’m at 210 lbs, and the transformation in my strength, muscle, confidence, and overall fitness has been incredible.
What really sets Ryan apart is his knowledge. He doesn’t just put you through a generic workout—he understands training, proper form, progression, recovery, and how to customize a program around the individual. I’ve dealt with a past injury, and Ryan has always taken that into consideration, modifying exercises when necessary while still finding ways to challenge me and keep me progressing.

Going from 155 lbs to 210 lbs didn’t happen overnight. It took consistency, hard work, and having someone in my corner who genuinely knows what he’s doing. Ryan has played a huge part in that journey, and I’m extremely grateful for everything he’s taught me.
If you’re looking for a trainer who is knowledgeable, attentive, motivating, and actually customizes your training to YOU, I highly recommend Ryan.
“Before working with Ryan, I was intimidated by going to the gym and didn’t know how to start my fitness journey. A year and a half later, I feel confident and empowered, working on my mind and body in the gym.”
Before working with Ryan, I was intimidated by going to the gym and didn’t know how to start my fitness journey. A year and a half later, I feel confident and empowered, working on my mind and body in the gym. Ryan is patient, knowledgeable, fun, and has given me the tools I need to reach my goals, as we work to crush new ones. He’s become a friend. I’m so grateful for the time and energy he’s invested in me working together. Nervous about taking the leap towards your goals? Ryan will help you get there. Couldn’t recommend more!
“He takes my health issues and physical challenges into consideration and always makes sure my workouts are safe, effective, and tailored to my individual needs.”
Ryan is an amazing trainer who truly goes above and beyond to understand and support his clients. He takes my health issues and physical challenges into consideration and always makes sure my workouts are safe, effective, and tailored to my individual needs.
With his guidance and encouragement, I’ve improved my strength, coordination, and balance, while also building muscle and becoming more confident in my abilities. Ryan is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and compassionate. He genuinely cares about the people he works with, and that makes such a meaningful difference.
Over time, Ryan has become more than just a trainer, he has also become a friend. I’m incredibly grateful for his support and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, caring, and dedicated trainer.
“Ryan and I met in a confession line, then became friends over coffee and meals. Training together deepened that friendship and transformed my health: I lost 25 lbs, built muscle and took my chest press from 25 to 60 lbs. Ryan leads with care, encouragement, and purpose. I can't recommend him enough!”
